Henkel – Dust 2016

Dust is a conceptualized soundtrack to a post apocalyptic film set in the 70’s. It’s been a pet project started early 2015 to explore new sounds and styles. Long intros, outros, different meters and instruments. I love vintage soundtracks and recording aesthetics. Tried to capture them here with analog gear and tape. Please have a listen.

Henkel – Spaces and Places 2015

Spaces and Places, multi Instrumentalist Henkel’s follow up to his self titled debut. Retro style Soul and Jazz instrumentals with lush harmonies and arrangements. Chill vibes mixed with uptempo grooves full of guitar and keys from Mr. Henkel.

Henkel – Henkel 2012

This is the debut album from artist, multi instrumentalist and producer Henkel. Sweet soul and jazz from a guy who has spent years honing his craft as a one man band as well as producing and recording. This album has been a labor of love and some songs have taken 4-5 years to complete. Echos of 60’s and 70’s soul and jazz music recorded and mixed with analog outboard gear, amps, effects and mastered through a tape machine for good measure. Chill out to these throw back instrumentals and feel the good vibes.
